This position will be managed through Actual Time Staffing Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of A&T Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care:
– Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
– Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
2. Clinical Support:
– Assist in medical procedures and treatments, maintaining a focus on patient safety and positive outcomes.
– Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
3. Patient and Family Education:
– Educate patients and their families on healthcare plans, medications, and post-treatment care.
– Foster a supportive environment for families facing pediatric health challenges.
4. Documentation:
– Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
– Contribute to quality improvement initiatives through detailed documentation.
5. Collaboration:
– Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
– Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute valuable insights.
6. Continuous Learning:
– Stay updated on pediatric healthcare trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.
– Actively contribute to a culture of continuous learning within the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Ontario, Canada.
– Pediatric nursing experience is highly desirable.
– Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
